International collaboration
For homes, workplaces, commercial and reception spaces outside China, there are three ways to explore working together. We start with the project location, current stage, budget and the support you need. These are service options for discussion, not a record of completed international projects.
For projects with an existing space or design direction that need furniture selection and procurement coordination.
We discuss a coherent furniture selection around the style, practical needs, dimensions and budget. Drawings, photographs and remote conversations can provide a starting point; final dimensions, access conditions and suitability must be checked on site.
For projects that need an overall furnishing scheme connected to sourcing and implementation.
We coordinate the relationships between furniture, decorative lighting, curtains, rugs, art and accessories. The agreed scope may include design, selection, bespoke pieces and on-site styling. For international projects, remote communication, site verification and the role of local teams need to be agreed first.
For projects that want furnishing needs considered before architectural fit-out design or construction.
We advise from a furnishing perspective on furniture layouts, scale, colours, materials and future use, and discuss relevant interfaces with the local design team. Consultancy can be agreed as a standalone service, without a commitment to later procurement or implementation. It does not replace architectural or fit-out design, construction drawings, engineering or construction responsibilities.
Drawings, photographs, video and online discussions can help us develop the brief and review proposals. Remote information does not replace accurate on-site measurement and verification.
The project scope should identify who carries out site checks during the design stage and the final verification of dimensions and conditions before orders are placed, and how and when these checks happen. Any AVA HOME travel and attendance, and coordination with local designers or delivery teams, are agreed separately. Overseas attendance is not automatically included.
Design or consultancy services and product purchases are defined separately. Purchasing responsibilities, supplier orders, bespoke approvals, quality checks, transport, insurance, customs clearance, duties and taxes, local delivery, installation and aftercare must be allocated in the quotation and contract. Cross-border shipping, customs clearance, installation and all implementation costs are not automatically included.
Fees are quoted individually according to the scope, location and collaboration arrangements. There is no fixed public price. Please share the project city and country, space type, current stage and key requirements.
